Our history
The founding partners
Profilsystem was born from the union of two founding partners: Guido Torreggiani and Donato Santinami. Guido and Donato began as partners in a small company, Siltubi snc., investing in their business skills and technical expertise, betting on themselves.
It was at Siltubi that the first plant was born, designed and built with the idea of perfecting traditional roll-forming lines. It had the desired effects and led to the start of the second line, more performing and sophisticated. Sleepless nights were spent perfecting and refining the method and technique to produce profiles in a workmanlike manner, programming the management language and searching for customers with whom to forge the first collaborations.
Within a short time, the acquisition of a majority shareholding and the move to the company's homeland, to a more suitable and functional location, led to extraordinary changes.
Today, the two founders are joined by their sons, with a precise input: to maintain the reliability of the company by integrating it with the most innovative technologies in the sector.
From the 1990s to today
THE BIRTH OF PROFILSYSTEM
Once the then Siltubi Snc, based in Olginate (LC) and dealing with the production of tubes for chandeliers, was absorbed in 1989, Profilsystem was founded in 1990. The company specialised in the design and production of special cold-formed profiles from carbon steel strips.
In 1998, Profilsystem moved its headquarters to the current plant, which was built and organised with the aim of optimising and expanding production in the face of increasingly sophisticated and articulated demand.
Our path of growth, allows us to have a highly structured but versatile kowhow, capable of also giving space to innovative ideas.
