C-rail profile
Reinforced C profiles for enhanced structural performance
C-rail profile is an engineered evolution of the standard C section, specifically developed to deliver increased stiffness and higher load-bearing capacity. The addition of reinforced flanges—formed through secondary bending operations—enhances bending resistance and improves structural performance under static and dynamic loads.
Compared to conventional C sections, C-rail profiles with reinforced flanges provide a higher moment of inertia and improved resistance to local deformation, making them suitable for structural frames, support systems and rail-based applications where dimensional stability is essential.
Alternatively, this template is used as a retaining element, such as a glass retainer rather than a fabric retainer.
Due to their geometry and mechanical properties, reinforced C-rail profiles can be effectively used in guided systems, sliding assemblies and structural rail configurations, including applications where alignment precision and load distribution are critical.
Custom manufacturing and integrated processing
Reinforced flange C-rail profiles are manufactured to customer specifications and can include additional in-line processing to facilitate integration into engineered systems:
- Standard or custom punching patterns
- Technical and traceability marking
- Cut-to-length production
- Application-specific secondary operations
Made-to-order production ensures dimensional consistency, repeatable mechanical performance and optimized compatibility with structural and rail-based assemblies.
