What is the difference between continuous wire welding and laser welding?

In order to meet the specific customer requirements, Profilsystem offers  specific processes of seaming, clinching and welding of metal profiles with complex shapes. In particular, the continuous wire welding is used only for black or pickled metal profiles as the galvanised, pre-painted coating or plastic-coated coating would be compromised. The laser welding allows to obtain thin, resistant and deep welding.

Unlike other metal welding, laser welding hardly creates evident residues but requires excellent skills to obtain precise and high quality results. This welding technique can also be applied on coated materials or stainless steel because the surface, extremely thin, does not compromise the characteristics of the material.
